With YouTube’s Search Stories tool you can search for different terms that your business comes up for and it basically films the search and the results for you. Bam, you have a video!
We have been talking about how people/businesses can change the way people search and this is an example!
If you are having a hard time coming up in the search results for a specific term, but there is a variation of that term that you are #1 for you can advertise that term/phrase on business cards, your blog, with social media and even your website. You are basically influencing people to search a certain way and at the same time marketing your business!
With the “search stories” tool you can now advertise 7 phrases and use this video to market the search terms people can find you for. Name it something like “Find us online with these phrases!” and then add it to your blog, your email newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, your website, emails…it could go on and on. The goal is to give people terms they can find you for. Memorable terms!
They Can Just Search For My Business Name!
Well, what if they forget it? No offense, but perhaps your business name isn’t memorable or easy to remember…or even easy to spell! What if they tell a friend about you, but they don’t have a pen to write your business name down? If someone said, “Just google Des Moines Deli and they are #1″ this would be easy to remember, right? Make searching easier for people and give them terms that are easy for them to remember.
